Hand-Painted Custom Car Artwork

The One Gift He’d Never Buy Himself.

Send me one photo of his car. I hand-paint it into museum-grade artwork, you see the painted preview before anything prints, and it arrives ready to hang. There is exactly one of these in the world, because there is exactly one of his car.

Why The Usual Gifts Fall Flat

He Doesn’t Want Another Garage Sign.

You already know how this goes. He says thank you, he means it, and by February it is in a drawer with the rest of them.

  • The Mass-Produced Sign

Somebody else’s Chevelle, printed ten thousand times. It says you know he likes cars. It does not say you know his car.

  • The Photo-Filter “Art”

An app that runs his snapshot through a preset in four seconds. They all come out looking the same, and a car guy can tell in a glance.

  • Another Gift Card

Safe, honest, and forgotten by New Year’s. Nobody hangs a gift card over the workbench for the next twenty years.

What You’re Giving Instead

His Car. Painted.

One photo, hand-painted by someone who grew up around hot rods and knows what an owner looks at first. I check every detail myself, you approve it before it prints, and it arrives on museum-grade canvas or archival paper. There is one of these in the world, and it has his stance, his wheels, his paint.

  • His car — his stance, his wheels, his paint, the details only an owner notices
  • A painted preview by email within 48 hours of ordering
  • Free revisions until every detail is right
  • Museum-grade canvas or archival paper, arriving ready to hang

One Real Photo, One Real Commission

This Is What He Sent Me. This Is What He Got.

A phone snapshot in the driveway is all I need. The car in the photo stays the heart of the piece — I paint the light, the setting and the mood around it.

Wes Klee at his easel painting a classic car
The Artist Behind His Piece

Hi, I’m Wes Klee

Growing up in an artistic family, with my father as a professional traditional artist in the classic car space for over 40 years, I have been around classic cars and hot rods my whole life.

When you work with me, you're partnering with an artist who treats each project as a chance to create something exceptional. My decade of experience means I have the skills to bring your vision to life, while my automotive passion ensures I know what actually makes a your ride stand out.

"I'm a car guy at heart who loves working with cool cars!" -Wes Klee

Twenty Years From Now

Cars Get Sold. The Story Shouldn’t.

Every one of these cars has a story that never made it onto the title. The summer he finally brought it home. The winters it spent apart on the garage floor. The first Sunday a grandkid was allowed behind the wheel.

Somewhere down the road the car changes hands. What stays on the wall is the reason it mattered — and the fact that somebody thought it was worth painting.

Some of the most meaningful pieces I paint are of cars that are not in the garage anymore. Dad’s truck. Grandpa’s Chevelle. If that is what you are ordering, say so in your notes and I will treat it that way.

Good Questions, Honest Answers

Everything You’d Want to Ask Me.

If your question is not here, email me directly. I answer every one myself.

Will it actually look like my car?

Yes. Your photo is the foundation of the piece, not a loose reference. The body lines, stance, wheels, color and trim are your car’s; I paint the light and the setting around it. If a detail is off in the preview, tell me and I will fix it before anything prints.

Is this a photo filter or real artwork?

Real artwork. I use years of design experience, digital painting and thoughtful technology to build each piece by hand, then review every detail myself. No two are alike, and none of it is a one-click filter.

What do I actually receive?

A museum-grade print of your finished artwork in the size and finish you choose: archival matte paper, unframed or wood-framed, or gallery-wrapped canvas, unframed or framed. Everything ships ready to hang.

How long does it take, and will it arrive in time for Christmas?

Your preview arrives by email within 48 hours of ordering. Once you approve it, printing and shipping take 1–2 weeks. Order by the dates above and it will be there for Christmas. If you are cutting it close, I will send you a printable card of the finished artwork to give on the day.

What if I don’t love the preview?

Tell me what to change: the background, the angle, a color, a detail I missed. Revisions are free and nothing goes to print until you say so. That is my love-it guarantee.

My car isn’t restored or perfect. Will it still look good?

Some of my favorite pieces are survivors, project cars and daily drivers. I paint the car you love, as it is or as you remember it. Want the dent gone or the original wheels back? Just say so in your notes.

Can I order it as a gift if I don’t have a great photo of their car?

Any clear photo works, even one from their Facebook or a car show. Every preview goes only to your email, so the surprise holds until the box is opened.

Will the colors be accurate?

I match the paint from your photo and print on color-managed, museum-grade materials. If a shade reads wrong in the preview, tell me and I will correct it before it prints.

I’ve never ordered custom art. Is it complicated?

Three steps: upload a photo and check out, approve the preview I email you, and hang it when it arrives. No forms to print, and no back-and-forth unless you want changes.
